Day 1: Transfer to Samburu National Park
Drive north to Samburu National Reserve to
arrive in time for lunch. After lunch proceed
for an afternoon game drive in the park famous
as the place for the Samburu semi-nomadic
tribesmen, the reticulated giraffe, the Grevy's
zebra gerenuk, beisa oryx and a host of the big
game including elephant and lion. Dinner and
overnight at the campsite
Day 2: Game drives
A Full day in the Reserve with morning and
afternoon game drives. Go with your packed
lunch. On the game drive, you will observe
giraffe, buffalo, waterbuck and zebra, gazelle,
lions, Elephant, cheetah, leopard and many
others. For the birders, you will view different
bird life, mostly around 365 species at the
river area. Dinner and overnight atthe campsite
Day 3: Enroute to Lake Nakuru
Depart from Samburu after breakfast and head to
the Dramatic Rift Valley arriving at the Pink
Lake for lunch at campsite. You will have lunch
and an afternoon game drive inside the Park to
view thousands of pink flamingos and numerous
wild game. Dinner and overnight at campsite
Day 4: Head to Masai Mara
Drive through the Great Rift Valley, the
dramatic landscape and the plains inhabited by
Maasai pastoralists. The Maasai Mara National
Reserve is reached in time for lunch. In the
afternoon you will have a game drive to search
out lion for which the reserve is famous. Dinner
and overnight at the campsite
Day 5 and 6: Game drives
Two days spent in the Mara and on game drives
morning and afternoon. Transfer to Mara Serena
Lodge for a two night stay. You will enjoy two
game drives, one in the morning and another in
the afternoon. Kenya's most popular game
sanctuary will give you the best opportunity of
spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo,
rhino and elephant). You may have an optional
visit to a local Masai village. Dinner and
overnight at the campsite
Day 7: Drive to Amboseli
Depart from the Mara, after breakfast and
proceed to Nairobi for lunch. After lunch, drive
to Amboseli at the foothills of snow capped mt.
Kilimanjaro , Africa 's highest peak. Enroute,
you will have to carry out a late afternoon game
drive. Dinner and overnight at the campsite
Day 8: Game drives
After breakfast, have an early morning game
drive. Amboseli is a photogenic Park and hosts
great number of game including the lion,
elephant and the splendid cheetah. You will
return to the lodge for a late breakfast. Relax
and at 1600hrs, you will take another game drive
inside the park. Dinner and overnight at the
campsite
Day 9: Transfer to Tsavo West National Park
Have an early morning game drive in Amboseli
National Park and a late breakfast. Later depart
via Shaitani lava flows to Tsavo west arriving
for lunch at the Campsite. After lunch, carry
out an afternoon game drive extending to mzima
springs. Dinner and overnight at the campsite
Day 10: Return to Nairobi
Have an early morning game drive in search of
the man-eaters of Tsavo among the “Big five” and
a late breakfast. Later depart back to Nairobi
